Oh guess what. I tracked down the audio-muting-itself bug. It was caused by AudioEffectReverb, setting room_size to an invalid NaN value. How did it become NaN? Because I had a function to calculate room_size by counting air vs solid tiles, a function which I last week asked an AI to optimize. Great

Struggling with the world's most annoying bug: Every time I try to play a sound effect, all sound mutes itself (incl music) for about 2 seconds. Then returns to normal. For any sfx played from anywhere, regardless of code.

Anyone using #GodotEngine who just happens to know what could cause this??

Steam's controller support checklist includes a point about showing on-screen keyboard when text input is expected.

How do you handle this in Godot? The engine only supports virtual keyboards on mobile (and on mobile on web), so is a bespoke solution expected for desktop platforms?
