Not going to rage post on social media about politics.

Gonna leave that to the poasters and pundits.

Just going to share photos of all the beautiful public lands I like to visit and talk about the weather.

Oh. Dammit. This sucks.

Without a doubt craziest 4Q in memory.

Two consecutive TD passes that were ricochets to start? Just bonkers.
Sick of people posting that “hate aged people”, some of us are aged and ugly for different reasons.

I’m sorry. I’m not a hater at all. I just don’t wear sunscreen or use moisturizer and spend a lot of time outdoors in dry, sunny Colorado.

I’ve only spent a few weeks in the UK so can only speak to the American perspective:

We certainly walk in the states, but when we are in nature, off tarmac, that same from of locomotion magically becomes a hike.

It does seem silly 🤷🏼‍♂️
Something autumnal for the #BlueSkyArtShow: an October hike with my son last year.

Oh, no doubt.

What’s your email? I got a bunch of crazy conspiracy theories you need to hear about. I’ll fwd: fwd: fwd: the best ones.

👴🏼
Should mention that only yesterday I briefly fell for an AI video.

I’m losing my edge.
My in-laws live on a lake in the north Georgia woods.

I was out taking photos as my child was exploring and I took maybe six shots of two swans on the other side of the lake w/ the telephoto lens.

Having downloaded the images it is obvious now that these were fake, decorative swans.

😞
I remember when this happened. Apparently it was an instructor at the business at the wheel at the time 🤣
When the aurora made an appearance at the low latitudes of Colorado May of 2024, I scrambled to get some photos.

Fairly mediocre, to be honest! But it made me happy to photograph them finally after seeing them for many winters living in the far north.

My favorite mushroom 🥰
Thank you for sharing this.

I worked as a reporter in Homer many years ago and applaud the principled decision of these journalists.

Long week. For the weekend, here's something Jane Goodall told me in 2015:

"Too often we're told, 'think globally, act locally.' If you think too long globally, you become depressed. But twist it around, you act locally and see what you and your friends can do to make a difference."

I use a lot of custom feeds on BlueSky, but this one is one of my favorites for seeing good content from accounts I’m not following.
Enjoying the For You feed? Give it a like ♡ to help more people discover it: bsky.app/profile/did:...

The more people use it -> the more feedback we get -> the better we can make it for you.
After climbing 3000 feet up a steep couloir, I decided to sit for a moment and take in the scenery.

(I’ve posted this before, but it works for the BSAS theme of #Relax )

iPhone photo from a late May climb in the Elk range a few years back.

Cheers. Thank you for all the reposts 🙏🏼
This is my favorite song by The Shins. Some of the most beautiful “la la las” committed to tape, imo 🥰
