Bruce Brown was not only pivotal in the #Nuggets' first title win, but a fan favorite.

In returning to his Denver home, can he recapture that championship magic and impact?

I dig DEEP into that question in my latest film study for

Can Bruce Brown Regain His 2023 Denver Nuggets Championship Form? [Film Study]
Bruce Brown was pivotal in the Nuggets' first title win, and a fan favorite. This film study examines if he can regain that championship impact in his return to Denver.

Khaman Maluach is listed at 7'1", but it looks to me like he's probably taller. He looked pretty towering out there, even alongside Nikola Jokic.

Spencer Jones for the #Nuggets tonight so far:

13 points, 5 of 9, 3 of 5 from 3, 7 rebounds, 1 assist (but like 2 more pretty great potential assists), 1 block, +10

Denver just has got to guarantee him to a standard contract before the deadline.

Despite being a long-developing trend, this was largely cemented last playoffs by OKC & Alex Caruso, who was given free rein to absolutely maul Nikola Jokic on every possession w/ no calls.

Meanwhile, SGA grifts all night & gets praised for being "great at getting to the line."
We have now officially reached the "Devin Booker is allowed to bash Nikola Jokic in the face" level of the NBA green lighting smalls to just foul the shit out of Joker with no whistles.

I mean, the obvious assumption would be that he wants to save time outs, but I can't claim to really know his reasoning.
Any idea why DA is so hesitant to use his challenges? I get the "keep your powder dry for a critical moment" notion, but he seems to take that too far.

Per the #Suns broadcast, Jamal Murray is now 21-4 against Devin Booker.

Another missed challenge opportunity by DA, Book clearly kicked out.

Some excellent #MileHighBasketball ball movement...

Jamal Murray to Nikola Jokic to Bruce Brown to Tim Hardaway Jr., who drives in for the free throw line floater.

Hayes-Davis got arm on Mal, this should be an unsuccessful challenge... if the refs actually get it right.

Grift against the Nuggets, and you'll always have a pretty good chance

Is Collin Gillespie already better than Devin Booker?

Sure, but this game went against the narrative of this season, which is that, in contrast to the previous two, they're building towards something rather than being shrinking violets. They're becoming contenders.

But tonight was their shrink game. They just freaking folded. Indefensible effort.
It’s year 6 of deep playoff runs with the same core. It’s hard to keep that energy for November games

Can't say worst necesarily, but most un-serious, unprofessional loss of this Nuggets season.

Sure, AG & CB are out, but, um, Wemby too. On the balance, especially at home in a Cup game that the players should have given a crap about, they just punked out. Embarrassing, really.
November 29, 2025 at 5:08 AM
Conspiracy theory would be:

Nuggets just don't want that extra Cup game.

But reality is:

Nuggets just sometimes phone in their GAF-ness and crap out. And that's not championship shit.

Looking forward to the NBA's last 2-minute report on the Nuggets' loss, where they say:

"Oops!"

Not why Denver lost, but it didn't help, either.
November 29, 2025 at 5:00 AM
This is a dumb Nuggets loss, but the refs making mistakes left and right sure didn't help either.

👀

Why is bopping a dude on the head a flagrant, but tripping a dude isn't? They're both equally dangerous to players' health.
More road teams getting home cooking on Denver's court.

Same as it ever was.
November 29, 2025 at 4:52 AM
I can never figure out whether the Nuggets care or not.

And I think that's problem for them. Like look at Indiana last year. Game in, game out, their give-a-shit-ness was never in question.

But for Denver? They definitely take nights off.
