Luckily in germany, the owner can't be made liable, only if they find the actual driver they can do shit. I told them idk who that is, they asked if i know someone who looks like it and again I said no. This should be the end of that.

This week I got woken up by feds asking me who got into a speeding ticket in a car registered to me, luckily not angery feds but still. The image was fuzzy, but showed it not being me, so they fucked off again.

I do hope you have insurance for the window, and that they actually do their job.

Soooo: after Oct 15th there will be one new rule about porn needing to have all sorts of consent from everyone, which BDSM artists might get fucked by. All of that was truly worth the 31h trip back home, including losing some parts from the car and nearly causing a crash. But lol, nobody was harmed so it's funny, right? (car is fixed again btw, ~40€ of parts was enough)

Tl;Dr : go make or help cons. You WILL be tired, but proud like hell. 4/4

There is other cool perks though, for example being able to make pictures like these. Or the fact that working in a con office feels like the cooler version of meeting your best friends for a Lan-Party.

I am proud of my work, as I am proud of the work of my team members and other teams. Each con is thousands of hours in work. From concepts, to debates, planning, accounting, recruiting, artworks, ordering... I am lucky to be in a spot where my work is visible to many and apparently liked. 2/4

Being Con Staff has its downsides, like not seeing the people and panels as much.

HOWEVER, after months of PR work, helping with the charity auction and doing a side-task here and there... I can say there is no such bliss as seeing it happen IRL and now reading positive comments on @galacon.eu 1/4
