I used to laugh when I saw 4 chickens cramming themselves into one little nesting box. Finally I took an old brooder cage and turned it into a community nesting area. They're all much happier now. This thing can easily fit 10+ laying hens at one time lol.

Up front here is one of my freeloading deathlayers. She lays maybe 3 or 4 eggs every summer is about it. She and her sister have something genetically wrong & they don't really lay eggs 🤷‍♀️ but they're so darn cute they get to stay 💜
