Y'know the real fucky thing is Sonic.EXE himself isn't even original as far as "evil demon sonic" goes. Zodick the Hellhog appeared in an actual game on an actual Sega console as the ruler of Toy Hell and has a bit more going on design wise besides some lanky limbs

This won't be true in every case, Digimon and Pokemon are unique from each other

However, if you like monster taming games, I believe there's a good chance you'll love Digimon Story Time Stranger! Maybe give the demo a try, the save can carry over to the full game if you get it!

Digimon Story Time Stranger releases in 24 hours in Japan (Console Version), so they are sharing various illustrations made by various artists to commemorate it. The first is from Nakano Haito. It seems some players are already playing the game thanks to early shipping.
