The new AI integrations in Android are about what I expected: Situationally useful to pointless

Stalin had most of the soviet era rail infrastructure built so that lines would only go between a distant point and Moscow - primarily to limit interaction between the provinces

Even today, when a single line is damaged, there's often no alternative route.

In addition to Ukraine's attacks on oil refineries, there are also separatist groups inside Russia destroying rail infrastructure, which is so much more devastating than you'd think

The police state is considerably more powerful than the army in a number of ways, so it might be a hot minute before the unrest starts pulling resources from the front.

I could see the war becoming an unbearable burden over the winter if enough people are willing to risk protest.

It took a week or two longer than I'd expected, but the Russian economy appears to be contracting rapidly. Four day work weeks becoming widespread, stock selloffs and so on.

I don't know how or when that'll be felt on the front, ongoing energy concerns aside. Russia's structure is weird.
