However, no pain for me compares to putting that tiny coffin in the ground and being expected to walk away. There is no word for losing your child besides unnatural. It's been 24 years, I celebrate the love, weather waves of grief still. I hope shared grief and experience brings peace and comfort.

It's amazing that only 12 days of parenthood can completely change a person, derail whatever future intended. I was never the same after the day I came home from the hospital without my baby. The 4 miscarriages trying to have another were hard, dashed dreams and hopes until hope hurts. 1/2
