Dealing with all your responsibilities and challenges is tough, especially when you’ve got a disability. I feel like I’m always carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders because I need to know what’s going on and what might happen next. It can get pretty overwhelming!

I even stopped talking to my mother-in-law because she's a big Trump supporter, and she couldn't understand my worries and anxieties. My wife has been nothing but supportive and loving; without her, I wouldn't be where I am today.

I’ve been going through a difficult time for the past month and a half, which has impacted my academic progress. As an immigrant, I aspire to live a life of peace and harmony. However, every night, I go to bed wondering if I have a future in this country.

A couple of days ago, I reflected on my feelings of frustration and self-disappointment. I am a proud Puerto Rican (Hispanic/Latino), Autistic, and a patient living with fibromyalgia. The constant stress and violence against my community have deeply affected me emotionally. However, witnessing so many people rise up and fight against fascism fills my heart with joy. Thank you to everyone who was there today.
