@tesjuniorgenuis.bsky.social is the most humble teacher. She cares deeply about her students. Yes, Daniela is a teacher from Toronto who has books on First Nations on her wishlist. Truth and Reconciliation.
She deserves some happiness during hardship.

“I don't mind stealin bread from the mouths of decadents
But I can't feed on the powerless when my cup's already overfilled yeah
But it's on the table, the fire's cookin'
And they're farmin babies, while slaves are workin
The blood is on the table and the mouths are chokin
But I'm goin' hungry

Open enrollment for ACA healthcare plans has started, and enrollees are seeing what their premium costs will be next year.

Without subsidies, one couple will see their monthly costs increase from $495 to $2,168 — a 300% increase.

This is what Democrats are fighting to prevent.
I agree! That’s why I think your wishlist is more important than a teacher who only wants decorations.
It looks awesome! I used to hoola-hoop! Thank you! 💜
There are teachers who will still want decorations because they just happen to be lucky. Yet teachers who need food for their students in their wishlist should be prioritized.
I am sad and angry. The priority is food. Therefore, maybe wishlists should only include water, Gatorade, and food. I mean no decorations at all. This is only until SNAP benefits are restored. I also think that Author Stuart Miller can post about this as well. What do you think?

Texas Governor Greg Abbott says that after the NYC polls close he will impose a 100% tariff on anyone moving to Texas from NYC.

Governors can’t impose tariffs.

Also, Mamdani scares the crap out of these guys and I think that’s awesome.

Cities thrive not on fear but empathy, on cooperation not division.

That's the NYC we know and love. It has found expression in this movement. And it is rising up at the ballot box today.

There is no one to protect us in Chicago except the people. Don’t rely on @govpritzker.illinois.gov with Illinois State Police brutalizing protesters. Mayor Brandon Johnson is MIA now. Forget CPD. As someone else posted, we defend each other.

The woman in this video had just had kidney surgery.
NEW: Footage of a US citizen in Chicago being rammed then dragged from her car on her way to work.

Abducted, with no warrant, her family couldn’t find her for hours.

She was later released with NO CHARGE.

A DHS statement said she “violently resisted arrest, injuring two officers”.

🇺🇸 On this day in 2008, Barack Obama was elected in a landslide to become our nation's first Black president.

(In case you are looking for a good omen today.)
I’m sorry about your grandmother and great-grandmother. 😞
A tragedy that we must not forget. 🪶
