[Update] I've now added the rewards we have name-image pairs for from the official Yule guide. There is a horse (mount) and a dog (presume NOT a mount😆) that may come from Hobbit gifts.

I'll have more detailed updates after it starts.

We got through the worst winds of #StormBram (which I'm pretty sure I called 'bran' yesterday🤦). No damage, no powercuts.

I've started to update my #LOTRO Yule Fest guide with what we now know officially. Full update tomorrow after the event launches.

[Cross Platform] much as I would like to be updating my #LOTRO Yule Guide, due to Storm Bran, I'm staying in the house until the gusts die down. My computer is in the office, which is in range of tall trees.

I'm staying safe under a real roof.

The problem for our village with named storms like #StormBram is not continuous battering, but wind gusts.

It's currently 25-30mph. Nothing much. But the gusts of ~70mph are what bring down trees, power lines and phone poles.

Hi all, thanks to a suggestion from one of you, I'm at my computer in sunglasses and my red light filter cranked up. I'm getting face and head pain, but sorta functioning.

I'm about to upgrade my site to WordPress 6.9. This is usually smooth, but I'll keep yous all updated.

To #LOTRO people, for Tuesday and Wednesday we're under a Yellow weather warning for rain and wind. Where we live that can mean downed trees and power/internet outages.

It should be all over by Thursday, but I'll try to keep you all informed.

After a ridiculously painful day yesterday, I've had only minor head pain so far today. I'm going to attempt gaming tonight if it stays steady.

I'm still full of headcold and achy, but I need to push through so I'm okay for #LOTRO Yule updates later this week.

I've not managed to catch up on socials because I'm still not better. My energy levels are unpredictable and I'm really coldy.

I have woodwork to finish for the weekend, then LOTRO Yule coming up.

And I'm fed up of being ill.

Heading back to sleep.

I've been struggling with energy levels and a sensitive head all day, so haven't touched my computer.

But I have done my first attempt at sticky toffee pudding. It came out okay, but too thin as I didn't have the right tin size for the amounts in the recipe.

Apart from Keldeo, though, today has been really difficult health-wise.

My #fibro pain has been awful, I've had more cold symptoms, and I'm prone to headaches even without screens.

It's somewhat annoying when yesterday felt like progress.

While it was difficult to keep trying to exercise while feeling ill, I just finished the "Tales of Transformation" event in #PokemonGo.

This long illness has meant I've put some weight back on that I've been trying to lose since July.

Things like this 👇 are small wins.
The Pokemon Keldeo - as depicted in GO - in its Resolute form. Is horn is much longer and stronger and the overall appearance is wilder, I think.

I've managed some #LOTRO side-quests in the Cape of Umbar tonight - just a couple of hours, but that's a win.

The headache is coming back so it's meds and sleep time.

I don't know if I'll be around here tomorrow. If not, I will on Monday.

My main LOTRO character raises her right arm in a greeting. She's not in her usual garb, but in a long tunic that is largely loose material (warm climate) except for the plate chest protection. To avoid looking to obviously from the lands she is, she has an eyepatch at this point. She can't tan fast enough to not stand out at all. The backdrop is pastel pink dusk, settling over a green-looking ocean. A single ship is coming in from the horizon, but you can't see much of it as it's basically prow-facing-the-camera angle.

Assassination by night wasn't really her style. But an aggressive war-camp of Haradrim was not what any part of the world needed right now. Except the Haradrim, obviously.

She hated doing it, but the leader was taken down with only a couple of followers, rather than alerting the whole camp.

Update: I'm starting to pull through some of the symptoms of the illness(es) I've had. Fewer cold symptoms and my Fibro pain is somewhat improved today. The energy drops and poor concentration still plague me & December's too busy to be ill.
