The reason i am the way i am is bc i faked it until i believed it. I still suffer from self depreciating thoughts. Feeling like im not good enough. But i remind myself that its better to be positive, and that i have ppl around me that think im better than enough.

lrp is said so well but i also find that kind of constant self-deprecating behavior to be very disrespectful to the people who do care about someone & put the effort in to show that. often times when people on social media complain of their social standing --

saying things like "no one likes me" or "i dont have any friends" or "i wish people paid attention to me" -- it tend to, in my experience, highlight the fact that whoever says them values their social image & a sense of popularity over meaningful connection and engagement.
