It was definitely insufficient for all of society to judge women on however they decide to feed their babies. Thank God RFK Jr is doing so too.
RFK Jr: "All of the ingenuity of corporate America has not produced an infant formula that is superior in nutrition and all the qualities that we want to the infant formula that God made, which is the infant formula in a mother's breast."

The Democratic Party needs to be less Gavin Newsom.
California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Thursday that the Democratic Party needed to be “more culturally normal” and “less judgmental.”

I know it's easy to become numb to the individual atrocities of this administration, but this move alone would have ended any presidency before 2016.

@gvaughnjoy.bsky.social, I watched Susan Slept Here, and that is one deeply fucked up movie. Wow.

I really can't emphasize enough that if you care about local politics, all you gotta do is show up. Just a regular schmegular person showing up. Literally just show up consistently in person and within a remarkably short amount of time, you will have a shocking amount of influence.

I swear I didn't used to be a conspiracy theorist, but with an administration that revels in misinformation it's hard not to be. Anyway, nowhere here does it say Trump didn't *also* get an MRI of the brain.

I'm going to run to the yarn store to get yarn for this shawl in case we're really snowed in overnight (though I'm always dubious of apocalyptic snowstorm predictions).

I have a google alert on my name. My name isn't super common, but I'm not the only one out there (one is an arts administrator in St. Louis; one works in public health in Australia). Apparently one of us is a photographer in Manitoba. This is the most unusual story to ever pop up on my alert.

I produce/host a history podcast & work in a university division that includes a history department, so I type the word history rather a lot. And yet my phone just autocorrected "history" to "diaper," a word I haven't typed since my youngest (who is now 11) was a toddler. Good job, robot overlords.

The strangest part is that when I saw the videos of trump with MBS all I could think is that I've never seen trump that genuinely happy before (which is terrifying). But then today he seemed that happy again with Mamdani. 🤷🏼‍♀️
