Professor and piano teacher Elsa Schiller was born #OTD in 1897. In 1933 she joned the RMK, but was forced to leave and forbidden to teach. In 1943 the Gestapo informed the RMK that she continued to teach and in Nov was arrested and deported to Terezin.

Violinist and teacher of violin and piano, Toni Weigmann was born #OTD in 1891. She survived deportation to Terezin and lived in Dresden until her death in 1974. Her son, Horst, tried to save her by impersonating a Gestapo officer and was hanged.

After spending several years in Terezin being active in its musical life, Hans Krasa left for Auschwitz #OTD in 1944 together with his fellow composers Viktor Ullmann, Pavel Haas and Gideon Klein.
