My sister picked up Legends Z-A and has been playing it all day and i just walked in on her at a moment where a guy was saying "IT'S ENORMOUS. AND TERRIFYING. AND AWESOME!" And i just felt like that was a really good out of context to share with the world.

Playing Engage it's crazy to meet characters like Chloe and Yunaka and Citrine who i've seen tons of fanart of seeing them next to characters like Celine and Lapis who i definitely feel like I'm seeing for the first time ever when they show up in game.

Also my brain wanted to refer to the concept of "Saving in a different save slot each time so you can go back to an older save if you screw something up" as doing "Ratchet saves" but i didn't say that here because it didn't feel right?

Is that an accepted term for this?

The final boss of "Wait, did I save? Let me do it again just to make sure." Is any game in which the save menu does not automatically close after you save. Great if you're rotating save slots, terrible if you have adhd.

FF12 does this and I almost always save at least twice.

For the record i wasn't reminded of this because i saw the grog nozzle (i'm watching a video about underrated items in classic wow, a game i've never played, and one of the items was one of these) but the grog nozzle is the most egregious example of this I have ever seen.

Was just randomly reminded of how much i hate items that are incredibly powerful, but are only given to you while actively doing a certain quest, so it's optimal to just never turn in that quest to keep the item forever.
