i have all of digital plarail (and most of digital tomica) now
several pc cd-rom boxes spread on a grey carpet in an arc. the top row has the original larger release of the base digital plarail game, the first three expansions in slim cardboard sleeves, and the first boxed expansion with jewel case inside as well as the thomas the tank engine combination pack with the first licensed expansion alongside the base game as well as separate copies of the two thomas packa in boxes. the second row contains two digital plarail and tomica dx hard plastic cases with the player's guidebook with demo cd sitting on top as well as the third train expansion, the only building pack, and a copy of the first thomas expansion in its jewel case. the bottom row has a few copies of both digital plarail and tomica in their jewel cases. the covers of the boxes show the trains or accessories included

This is how I cope with the state of the world

i'm driving the tohoku joetsu shinkansen

i pulled a second controller out of one of my thomas sets, i'm supposed to get a bunch more tomix stuff in the mail tomorrow but i probably won't set any of it up until next weekend

three silver subway-style trains pass each other on a multi-level plastic plarail train set, with two trains on a two-track elevated line and a third on the lower line that travels under the upper lines. a grey road system curves along the inside of the lower track with a red suv turning the corner a loop of several track sections making up a small plastic thomas the tank engine set. several engines sit at various points around the oval, some with carriages trailing behind. the track sections are mostly green and brown and have trackside accessories like stations, a water tower, and a cow. one track section includes a turntable and siding and another has a red drawbridge the cover of a 1980s plarail set featuring the white and green 200 series shinkansen. the box is mostly yellow with a cartoon train traveling through a green countryside background at the bottom and blue clouds around the three plastic windows showing the three cars of the included train an old green plarail electric commuter train, curved to show the yellow wheels and two unpowered cars trailing the lead power car, with metal power switch hanging out the front

started playing with some of my japanese n scale trains
an n scale (small) model train track set up on a carpeted floor. the main portion of the track forms a figure eight with sloping curves leading to a trestle bridge crossing the perpendicular lower track. a switch track leads over to another loop of track. some boxes, loose track, and trains in plastic cases sit around the track. a silver electric locomotive with lit headlights pulls a blue passenger train up the back of the figure eight heading towards the bridge. a steam locomotive sits on the branch connecting the figure eight and the loop

similar to how you can get to the mute word menu directly from any post you should be able to mute or block the poster od any post directly instead of having to go throigh to their profile. the options could even go in the same profile picture-accessed menu

i have gotten into the habit of buying most reasonable-looking pedestrian hifi vcrs priced under 10 bucks because i suspect i will only continue to see them less frequently in the future and there's a nice spot in the late 90s where they often just work

a colorful plastic train toy with an odd looping track and little black steam locomotive of one of the common types of mall kiosk and tourist trap type "tumbling loco" toys. this version incorporates a large platform turntable at one of the reversing loops of the toy that has a version of the traditionally wind-up magnetic fishing game that instead only operates while the train is actively traveling around that portion of the loop
