Gatto mammone is the king of the cats & the the cat demon of Italian folklore. He appears in the fairytale Il Gatto Mammone where he lives in a castle with fairies. He rewarded a hard working girl & punished her lazy stepsister by putting a donkey tail on her forehead.

Gargaphia is a naiad. Not much else is known about her. Naiads are the nymphs of rivers, streams, lakes, marshes, fountains & springs in Greco- Roman myth.

Gargantua also appears in Swiss mythology & may or not be the same person as yesterday's Gargantua. In Switzerland, he's associated with a variation of land formations. He was a massive giant. Once when he washed his feet in the lake of Omène, it was renamed Black Lake for all the dirt from his feet
