Trump is clearly less "transactional" and more ideological than many believe.

We also see this in the Russo-Ukrainian war.
Trump has consistently supported Putin, through actions and words. TrumpAdmin is much closer to Putin's neo-fascism than liberal democratic values.

This is the wrong way for #Syria.

You managed to oust the tyrant Assad. He killed hundreds of thousands but not alone; Putin was his enabler. Putin is drenched in Syrian blood.

Winning has several stages.
Ukraine has to first overcome the military task at hand, which is possible but requires much stronger support and/or a black swan event.

Secondly, Ukraine has to remain an independent and democratic state for decades after. A task that is formidable.

Reality, on the other hand, shows us an independent, sovereign Ukrainian nation getting stronger and stronger. That is the reallity.

The biggest threat to Ukrainian victory lies in the mind of its western friends.

A big middle finger to those pro-russian sentiments out there, from one of the worlds leading writers and historians.
Me personally; if you are not pro-ukrainian, you are pro-russia. There is no middle ground here.
