The problem with #CharacterNames: It's unique enough to be memorable, but not so weird that it's unpronounceable to #readers. Scour the web for hours or making something up that sounds believable as a name, and not that you sneezed while typing and didn't bother to fix the typo.

Absolutely!

Watched the Tolkien movie last night
Was not expecting much from it, anticipating turning it off early on.
However, it surprised me, even though some of the story line is overly contrived to reflect LOTR plot, it was well made and kept me engaged to the end.

Sir Pratchett's words often rely heavily on language jokes, double (or triple) meanings. Even the audio books can not do justice to some of the ingenious wordplay. I imagine translations into other languages is even harder, while the overall story may come across, the linguistic acrobatics is lost.
