Ran my little script again after the Qatar GP, and these are the updated probabilities of each driver taking the title next weekend. Difference indicated is to the probabilities after the sprint.

Norris: ~60% (-14%)
Verstappen: ~34% (+14%)
Piastri: ~6% (No change)

How each team and driver responded to Safety Car on lap 7 in Qatar GP

- Williams were absolutely clear on pitting. They were almost hoping for this
- Hamilton and his engineer have no chemistry
- Russell was more sure than any other driver to pit

Earlier this year, I spoke to the FIA about the extent and effect of social media abuse and toxicity. It was eye-opening, to say the least.

Here's what I learned about what the FIA is doing to address the issue of online abuse. #F1

Incredible stat:

On the last Five Occasions that at least Three Drivers were involved in the title decider - 1981, 1983, 1986, 2007 & 2010 - The driver leading the championship heading into the race never went on to win the title.

Can Norris break the curse?

Oscar Piastri's penalty in Brazil isn't quite the final nail in the coffin of his championship, but he needs some fortune for a turnaround.

Suggestions Bortoleto suffered a 34G impact, then 57G in his crash. Initial loss of control apparently at 339km/h. Not expected he'll take part in quali - he's fine, a new chassis is being built up. #F1
