ONLY CASUALTY

Carlos Sainz was the only driver to make an early exit from today’s Grand Prix, after contact with Kimi Antonelli brought his race to an end. No doubt he’ll be looking to bounce back next weekend when we head to Mexico.

FIGHTING AT THE FRONT

These two drivers battling for P2 and P3 delivered some exciting, but clean, racing this afternoon. Lando finished second ahead of Charles, but had to pass him on track twice to do it.

PARADE

As with every Grand Prix, the drivers took part in a pre-race parade. Earlier in the calendar, they did a lap in LEGO cars - much to their amusement. But for me, these off-roading buggies just take the top spot.

PROMISE

After yesterday’s struggles, Ferrari showed improved pace to finish P4 and P5. Charles said the car felt “much better” in the media pen, and he’ll no doubt be hoping that feeling carries through into qualifying.

First in today for Sprint and Quali day was Oscar Piastri, joined by his girlfriend Lily, who was wearing some very Texas boots. Oscar starts P3 in today's Sprint and says he will be patient into Turn 1, seeing what opportunities may await him.
