Holding the bottom could unhide the posts so i can find one i recently saw if i need to

@graysky.app is it possible to add downvotes to graysky so we can sort comments by upvotes? Or is that impossible on the atProtocol?

Here’s an article from *1997* about the US government spreading disinformation in the *1950s* about UFOs to distract from and hide their new military technology. Paywall free link in 🧵 https://www.nytimes.com/1997/08/03/us/cia-admits-government-lied-about-ufo-sightings.html

@archive.org can yall submit to be registered as a church under the Kopimism religion and have archiving be treated as service/worship so the lawsuits ur facing can rightfully be dismissed as an infringement of religious beliefs?

This is great and also a convenient way to easily find all the official accounts of journalists at an org by just going to the publications website
Announcing SkyLink, a new chrome extension for detecting new bluesky accounts while browsing the web!

Like the good ol’ days of RSS, this simply lights up blue when you’re on a domain that's linked to a bluesky profile.

Just click the icon to open their bluesky profile in a new tab.

I’m surprised Wired hasn’t ran a story on Apple’s porn exploring app Safari or how easy Google makes it to search “sex video” and find an endless amount of porn😧
What is the deal with Wired's weirdly puritanical coverage of adult content on the internet lately? They published this whole screed about letting Twitter "devolve into porn" in December, too. https://www.wired.com/story/let-twitter-devolve-into-porn/

What part of Late Stage Capitalism is twitter on that they want to force you to tweet and market it as “free speech for $8 a month”

Anyone working on an instagram type client for Bluesky/atProtocol yet? Would be great to eat mark zuckerbergs lunch at the same time as elon’s

Nothing you delete is actually deleted. All your pictures you’ve posted and delete are still available for anyone to find and download.

Kinda shocked this is still not made clear in the ui especially after all the spicy pic posts this week.
Deletes now are similar to "putting something in the trash" on an OS. We have the functionality for "emptying the trash" implemented, but not in the app or communicated yet. We'll get that in soon!

What you're seeing here is like doing an img search on your computer & seeing some imgs in the trash

Someone needs to invite Amy Goodman of Democracy Now onto bluesky 🙏

Just found out there’s a website that lets you order food directly from local farmers

If you didn’t know, Bluesky is just one app that runs on top of the At Protocol thats being developed by the Bluesky team.

Anyone can make apps on top of the protocol. For example: @skyspaces.bsky.social is a Clubhouse type app that can already be used with your Bluesky username and password

Since today is May Day you should consider learning about Tactical Urbanism. A grassroots approach to improving local spaces neglected or purposely destroyed by the government (usually to inconvenience houseless people)

This group doing TU in Tennessee is great https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRwSCdPT/

@ansh.bsky.team have you read about the work done using pol.is for “pro social” social media that helps people come to consensus on things? Would be great to have some front end design work on bluesky that promotes similar “pro social” techniques
