Therapists should be politically neutral but they should not be ethically neutral. We can agree to disagree with our clients on fiscal policy but not on whether trans people have the right to exist. We must not walk blindly into the jaws of ethical relativism.

Having had a chance to read it I can now say that is is not only one of the best books on racism I have ever read but also one of the best books of applied philosophy I have ever read.

This book was interesting, with some useful ideas. I do not regret reading it. The title is misleading, however, since very little of the content specifically addresses the challenges of time-limited therapy.

There are books addressing mental health issues from a (Neo)Pagan/Witchcraft perspective. Every one I have yet seen is written by a well intentioned practitioners of the craft who are not actually therapists. My ambition is to write a book which bridges the gap.

Panel 1: Groypers Are An Ultra-nationalist are an ultra-nationalist neo-nazi group born out of the 2010's meme culture, led by Nick Fuentes, who in 2019 started what was dubbed "The Groyper Wars". They targeted the left, but also mainstream conservatives. (The drawing for this panel is an angry young man in a MAGA hat, with an AF insignia behind him.) Panel 2: Charlie Kirk was one of the main targets of the Groyper Wars. He was considered "a fake conservative" because he accepted to debate with Jewish or gay people. Groypers routinely attempted to derail his debates and force him into extreme positions. (The drawing shows a recorded debate.) Panel 3: Groypers use progressive symbols as a strategy to confuse people about their actual beliefs. for example, the protest song "Bella Ciao" was chosen as one of the "theme songs" of the Groyper Wars. (The drawing is off a frog troll meme) "Hey fascist, catch ↑→↓↓↓" is a meme referencing a code for total annihilation in shooting game "Helldivers 2". "*notices bulge* OwO what's this?" is another popular hateful meme used to harass the furry community, a common target of the far-right. Often books on queer witchcraft either have a lot of good queer theory with very little actual witchcraft or a lot of good witchcraft with very little actual queer theory. This book truly succeeds at integrating the two. My sexual, gender and religious identities have never felt more aligned.
