Gonna do the #Hooptober challenge this year, so here's my list of 31 films to watch and review. I'll probably start in Sept cuz that's a lot of free time I'll need to find lol. All first time watches save for Texas Chainsaw 1 and Wizard of Oz. Lmk which ones i should get excited for!

Coincidentally, did you know that "excrutiate" comes from Latin meaning "to crucify?" Something i just learned during a commercial break. Also learned some things about Polanski, the Farrows, and Woody Allen. Interesting parallels there!

Even outside the context of the game, I find it really striking as a lapsed christian. The song's original uplifting intent gets turned on its head when you've lost faith. You look around and see the horrors of every day, the empty seats at your table, your broken circle...
