Bean is PISSED cos I got him with a flea treatment while he was eating treats and I'm pretty sure I rubbed it all in enough but he's been trying to lick his shoulders and I'm so worried cos the last time he managed to lick the flea treatment off it gave him epic diarrhoea.

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

My mum had a party line with her neighbours growing up. At one point the two families fell out and suddenly every time our family went to use the phone it was already engaged. Mum swears the neighbours were leaving it off the hook on purpose just to fuck with her and my nan.

I keep thinking I should switch back to google but then I might as well go back to using Chrome and I have FINALLY gotten my bookmarks and stuff how I want them on Brave.

I was searching to make sure I had the correct name for the football club that had a terrible fire but I happened to do it on a page where I had image search open and I can tell you I'm really not fuckin happy about the results.

A Brave browser image search for 'football ground fire' where the first two photos are AI images of an american football covered in flames. Thankfully three of the next four photos are real images from the Bradford FC fire confirming that I did have the correct name.

It's not ideal but I feel like there's ways to mitigate it and it's better than dying in a fire.

I think it's cos when I worked in a music venue I did fire marshal training and they made us watch A LOT of footage from the Station night club fire and Bradford City FC fire and it honestly changed me.
