I'd be willing to bet that Peter Kyle begged Sam Altman to let him talk dirty to ChatGPT.

They won't, because countries globally are moving to ban adult content completely, to "protect" adult women.

The most I can get from doing that is a very muffled, weak snap. It's weird. ☹️

Oh, I suck at tying things too! For some reason I'm marginally better at it now, but we used to wear ties everyday to school as part of our uniform, so it would have been handy to be able to tie a tie back then. I can tie a tie now, somehow, but shoelaces are still difficult af. 😅

Like please I'd give anything to be able to snap myself into an alternate universe rn.

Itching to know more about Hero X.

He's so cool, I wish I could be cool like him, but can't even snap my fingers or anything.

Nevermind the fact that it puts women like me in danger for being kinky. How dare I, as a woman, enjoy my sexuality? Lol.

Half expect the stasi to show up at any time over my convos with a play partner or because I enjoy hentai sometimes.

...I want to leave this nightmare island.

I could maybe see it flying under the radar to some extent because it's audio, but the reason they rewrote their policy was to comply with UK laws, and anything not vanilla is basically illegal over here now, since Labour and Ofcom have resuscitated archaic obscenity laws to "protect" women.

Honestly, this is the only valid response to increasing surveillance. Turn it all into something deeply perverted to make the ones surveilling feel gross about themselves.

Asked my mam, who is sitting next to me rn, and she says she doesn't know why you called me a child lmao.

Care to explain what you mean by that?

Me: (political editor of the Times newspaper) The government has completely changed its justification for this highly dubious and obviously crooked scheme. How will that work out for them? Stay tuned to find out

The government reset of the case for digital ID continues
Having originally argued that it was necessary to crackdown on illegal migration - reducing the pull factor - it is now focusing firmly on better access to public services
Liz Kendall, technology secretary, says it is a
'digital key that unlocks better, more joined-up and effective public services'

Then consider giving the hackers jobs where they stress test digital systems for us, since they're actually tech literate, and we need more of this.

Yes, Starmer's gov and people making decisions at Ofcom should be sent to prison for a very, very long time, since they're the perpetrators responsible for all of our sensitive information being forced online.

Excellent Guardian piece on Aadhar, India's digital ID system, that captures the dilemma extremely well. Digital-by-default methods create huge convenience for some, double-down on social exclusion for others, and it is easy for their scope to rapidly expand www.theguardian.com/world/2025/o...

4chan has ghosted Ofcom, and is ignoring the UK regulators' pleas to comply with the Online Safety Act. Ofcom says it will fine them £100 a day until they answer their email.

Not incredibly surprising, actually, given how anti-LGBT Starmer's Labour has been as of late.

Thinking about the deep fried battered mars bar trend from the mid 90s to early 00s. I miss them, they were so unhealthy, so ridiculous, but so, so good. Look up the wiki page about them to learn more lol.

The alternative is that those in Labour that do not want any of this, which there are a few, should grow a backbone now and do something.

Until then, I'm keeping my eye on lib dems and greens, since they're the only ones in any way challenging this mess.
