Seattle weather a bit sleepy for now, but if you’ve got popcorn ready to pop and are looking for some exciting weather to chase, maybe keep an eye on Thanksgiving weekend, which isn’t really up to 😮 Emoji status just yet, but would qualify as 🧐.

Going to leave you tonight with another crazy video of the vibrant red aurora we saw in Alaska a few nights ago. Incredible naked-eye colors that made the sky look like it was on fire.

There's a slight glow of aurora at Isle Royale, MI currently. Perhaps this could be photographed from near the U.S.-Canada border, but it looks like it wouldn't be naked-eye visible. Nice night regardless.

NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center put out a graphic Friday that indicates what I’d say is an unusually early heads up of a potential “significant” weather pattern change. 🥶

Sneaky little rain event coming for parts of western WA with a trend upward in this morning's model guidance. The Olympics and N Cascades will catch the brunt of it. Fortunately, there's not a lot of snow to melt and reservoirs have plenty of space. Still, some minor local flooding is possible #wawx
