People who live in places that have few to no immigrants?

Mississippi, West Virginia, Wyoming and Montana are some of the deepest red States in the Union and only about 2.5% of their populations are foreign born.

That's one in forty.

It's much easier to irrationally hate people you've never met.

I knew an 80 y/o who was literally in the Mississippi Klan. He used the N-word and other racial epithets constantly - (I'm a minority, btw). But I had more respect for him owning his beliefs than for MAGAs who claim "Dems are the real racists!" while posting the above stuff anonymously.

Starlink satellites are supposed to have a 5 year life span, but they often fail much earlier. Which means under IDEAL conditions, the whole ~8,500 satellite constellation has to be replaced every 5 years at a cost of >$2 billion.

Reagan axed the Fairness Doctrine. And networks decided the News needed to make money, so ad-buys became the news' lifeblood and consequently the news stopped reporting on corporate chicanery and crimes.

For-profit news is a wholly owned subsidiary of the corporations, and they really like fascism.
