Just some scenes of my usual walk before breakfast through Ely, I used to do this walk most mornings with my Border Collie Sammy, he been gone 2 yrs now but I still do the walk and think of him.

The only thing I have in common with with an ex Prime Minister and an Olympic Gold medalist is I too have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, no symptoms but only because my Brother had it did my GP give me a regular PSA test and as a result it was picked up as it began to rise.
We need screening.

I saw Shadow Chancellor MelStride being interviewed this morning on BBC Breakfast, when asked what he thought of his Leader Kemi Badenough and response to the budget (There have been comments that it was just a personal attack on RR), his reply was “the Commons is theatre”.

The Two Ferruginous hybrid ducks, at WWT Welney, the one with Amber Eye is definitely Pochard hybrid but the other one is more of a problem.
Possibly a Ferruginous hybrid with female Pochard?

This morning my Wellies are stuffed with newspaper in the hope of drying them out, never have I lead a Hare walk where it rains so hard you can feel it running down your trousers into your wellies, only once in horizontal Hail and wind did I abandon a walk, yesterday nobody wanted to go back.

10 years ago today I was told after 21 years I was being made redundant, after 41 years in my trade my then manager made it feel as if it was my fault I was be made redundant due to my questions about working practices.
Today after my swan talk a lady said I was brilliant, I needed that.
