If we’re going to fight, this is what we should be fighting for. Incredibly proud of Senate Democrats and Senator Schumer for drawing a line in the sand. New Yorkers need healthcare. We cannot compromise on that.

After two years of devastating war, I’m hopeful to see a ceasefire that brings Israeli hostages home and stops the killing of Palestinians in Gaza.

Aid must reach Gaza NOW, and rebuilding must be fair, transparent, and not a cash grab by the Trump family and its cronies.

But our slimy "secretary of war" 🙄 is still slithering around the Pentagon, calling our troops "fat" and lecturing our generals about facial hair.

It's time for Pete to go (ideally to prison).

Two years after Hamas’s deadly 10/7 attack, we remember the victims and those still held hostage. Jewish people here and abroad deserve to live without fear of antisemitism. My heart also aches for innocent civilians in Gaza.

Claudia Tenney will destroy health care in NY-24 just so Republicans can say they won a political "battle." We need new people in Congress. We need people who know what it's like to hold their breath when they open a medical bill.

I agree with Sen. Duckworth 100%. If Hegseth had behaved this way as a soldier he'd have been dishonorably discharged. It is an insult to everyone who has served and everyone currently serving our country that he's allowed to run the Department of Defense.

In another day and age there would have been mass resignations from the military over this and the Secretary insisting there should be no rules of engagement, no moral restraints, only killing people and breaking things.

Diversity is the military's greatest strength. My friends at Kandahar came from every background, we all respected each other. Hegseth is a disgrace. He should've resigned over Signalgate. If he's still there when I make it to Congress I will introduce articles of impeachment.

Democrats need to draw a line now: No funding deal unless Republicans undo their cruel cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. When they refuse, we go everywhere and tell everyone Republicans like Claudia Tenney are stealing taxpayer money to make her rich donors richer.
