Roof top solar and storage is under assault on the Federal and State level. It is a jobs creator providing clean and independent energy security. People across the political spectrum support solar.

This is all really unfair to everyone who voted for Trump just for the racism.

@gavinnewsom.bsky.social chumming it up with @stevebannonoffish.bsky.social and continually agreeing with him is everything wrong with the Democratic Party. He will never be the leader of this party on a national stage.

Sounds like Trump is upset that civilian airliners have become too safe and is cracking down.

The solutions to mitigate the worst of climate emissions are proving to be less profitable than disaster capitalism and the status quo #disastercapitalism #climatechange #renewables

Solar companies across the industry are laying off employees including mine. We call it the “solar coaster” and this is my second time on major down slide in a decade- the last time was right after Trump was elected. 🎢

The world needs more renewable energy and China isn’t slowing down deployment. We’ll only get further behind

How Trump could spare Biden's renewable energy credits and still cripple his landmark climate bill
Any full repeal of the Inflation Reduction Act would have to pass both housesof Congress, where GOP lawmakers have been reluctant to completely discredit its benefits.

There is going to be a lot of unnecessary government shut downs over the next 4 years.

The same guy who engineered a get away down to the symbolic minutia is then clumsy enough to carry around the manifesto and same gun several days later? Either it’s not the same guy or he’s wanting to get caught and will use the platform of a trial to further his case.

#Solar has been the largest source of new capacity for 13 months straight.

An analysis of @fercgov.bsky.social data finds that #renewables made up 90% of new capacity additions through Q3 2024. 📈

There’s calculated optimism in the renewables industries that the GOP will not undo the ITC and many of the IRA investments as they primarily benefit Red States. Or that Elon Musk will help to influence things due to his own interest in renewables and storage.

I’ve been part of the “sustainability” movement since I was a teenager. I’ve often asked what is it that we’re trying to sustain exactly. Turns out, it’s convenience.

China is now the de facto political and growing technological leader in climate solutions. They’re exporting these solutions at a time when the USA leadership will turn its back on its commitments and the world.

How will China impact the future of climate change? You might be surprised
As a new Trump administration signals a retreat on climate action, China is stepping up. China is the biggest producer of climate technologies like electric vehicles and solar panels.

Agrivoltaics combines PVs w/ farming practices. Both benefit from this mutualism. Plants get shade while PVs are cooled by evapotranspiration, increasing efficiency. Works well w/ sheep grazing pasture below panels. But goats - not so much - they jump on panels! www.pv-magazine.com/2024/11/29/a...
Agrivoltaics can increase grape yield by up to 60%

Great article about this new class of highly potent opioids - Nitazenes- which can be 40X as powerful as fentanyl?!?

Note: my spellcheck doesn’t recognize Nitazenes yet. When it does we’ll all be in a very bad place in regard to the opioid pandemic.
