Anyway, the book was The Modern Venus by @elisabethgernerd.bsky.social and it's FAB. I say this as someone who has done a TON of work on this era and learned some new things. Sorry to Lis and Bloomsbury that my review will never see the light of day! If anyone else wants to publish it, it's yours.
