In all likelihood google will make the most useful LLM based products. Certainly not because of the now famous “attention is all you need” paper. Simply because they have the best web index and they have the most prolific human content creation platform: youtube.

On a side note: desktop linux has finally happened. At least very well on AMD hardware for single player campaigns.

I have found one use for AI. Since I'm only ever going to like podcasts made by millennials and at some point they will have to stop recording; I'll use AI to rerecord podcasts of the day in millennial's voice. Language, mind-set and all.

On a serious note: inventors have to be optimists and sci-fi kinda imaginative. That's how they invent.
What cost does society have to pay because of their, at times, lunatic imaginations? Huge amount of resources are allocated to those inventor's fever dreams. A lot of which doesn't pan out.
