Update: I asked and the person on the team I asked responded "There is currently no reason to implement the AT protocol" 😅

I've responded hoping to explain some benefits but, IDK. I hesitate to say "jump in for support because I don't want them feeling attacked but here is the thread I asked in.

I do think it would be a good benefit to them though because they seem to be scaffolding the social part off there Pictochat social app they had before called PictoVerse

I have not, as i finished the blog they announced in there discord they had hired for back-end already. I have the discord though. Maybe not to late.

I made a blog post about this, I really think its one of atprotos best use cases. It could solve a lot of what Epic Games is offering with there crossplay services.

There are AT URIs so I'm not sure if theres a stadard to somehow include that in the link but maybe thats something that should be explored as more divergent appviews are created.

I'm a PC gamer for sure, but I feel a real separation of concerns should be made between where you work and where you play, or where you do really anything. I'm far too easily distracted to game when i could be working on a project, watching a movie or show, or just yapping on social media!

I really want Steam to make a home console already! Yes! I know I can just build one myself and use Bazzite. I'm truly tempted to do it! But I really just want a Consoleᵗᵐ so with a Steam Controller based on the Steam Deck so I can just sit back and play games like I used to.

it is , i think worth noting that atproto can only work as a standard gauge if people build their apps to use these tracks.

i occasionally see projects that use atproto in a sort of cursory way but actually provide very little meaningful account portability due to housing most data in a db

I love Glitch, and am super happy indie animation is thriving! But I do find it funny that animation continues to be at the mercy of toy sales.

Like, all Glitch shows are completely funded by merch. And in this direct they basically said Knights of Guinevere gets greenlit if that plush does well 😅
