Not to be mean, but the buy-in of the middle-class to the proliferation of LLMs and "AIs" is largely one of fantasies of outsourced domestic labor. "I don't have to do this menial task" prohably elicits the same response as ordering an underlying to do it. It's not "ease," it's a domination fantasy.

Having gone to a prestigious art school, the art world is full of absolute self-important assholes who, unfortunately, are also really skilled at art. Some of my professors were the most miserable humans. And I hate we live in a culture that tends to promote them.
So tired of constantly being sent Aaron Blaise's work because of what I draw. Having to tell these well meaning people that I can't support his art because he's a giant asshole. Then inevitably having to explain why over and over despite not wanting to. Even shitty people can make beautiful art.

One of my cats loves sitting on my lap, but only when I’m wearing pants. She hates touching bare human skin it seems.

I don't think a lot of people realize the affordability crisis has been going on decades now. I remember 20 years ago, looking for apartments, looking at what I could make, and realizing it was an impossibility. It's only gotten so so much worse.
