More context: chief organizer has been accused of sexual harassment and creating a hostile space for women, allegedly. The organizers have split up and the remaining team is working on handing the event over to a 3rd party. The site has been taken down and Discord server will be nuked soon.

Luckily most of the community seems to separate the event from the organizers. Everyone is still encouraged to stream DOS games on December, whether its under DOSember tag or not, it's really up to you. Hope that helps!
