More than just a superhero fable as a slice of deeply felt Americana this is a near perfect adaptation of Dave Stevens comic.

35 years ago today QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER was released in theaters. Set in the dusty expanse of the Australian outback under an epic Basil Poledouris score, Simon Wincer managed to craft a perfect modern western that has remained an underrated gem of the genre.

I mostly just talk abt movies on here but I’m stoked that after years of dreaming about it, we were able to pay to get a deck added to our home! Now I’m leveling up my skills to sand and stain it. Maybe I’ll post some future photos when it’s stained and the finishing touches happen. #Deck
