I released #php 8.5.0RC2 yesterday resolving the last issue around one deprecation and many fixes.

Big thanks to #phpunit, #Symfony and all the others for their early testing, ensuring the release version is as good as can be.

Wow, Talos 2 looks truly awful with DLSS.

Given the game relies on it very hard to reach even 60 it's quite a shame for something that doesn't look all that impressive.

TSR - Native / Medium vs DLSS - Quality / Medium

And it looks plain awful in motion: imgur.com/a/55FQiNQ

The combination of Snap and Gnome might be the worst software install experience on the market.

I'd rather deal with .msi files.

"Please update [button]"

"Can't update while the software is running in the background with no window. I WILL be nagging you every day now"

The levels of anti-user.

Chants of Sennaar and the final DLC for The Case of the Golden Idol have both been fantastic deduction games.

Very happy with all the wonderful indies of 2023 in general, but these where special gems.

The difference between Bluesky and Twitter isn't that there are no crappy people here; this place has 840k users as of this instant, it's impossible some of them won't be trolls, creeps or malign. The difference is the ethos here is "Don't engage, just block." The moment the mask comes off, block.
Sadly, this place is becoming more like Twitter every day. I just saw some asshat compare wanting to retain copyright over a book you wrote to being Hitler.
