It's Earth Day 2025. We have only one "single island planet home", as Pope Francis called it. He said we need an "ecological conversion". We must steward earth's resources equitably, and care for land, people & nature. This is not an optional extra, but an imperative for the mission of God's Church.

A joy today to join these fabulous people after @dioceseofnorwich.bsky.social Synod and run in aid of Hargrave Church in Diocese of St Ed’s & Ips. They’ve since gone to a quiz supporting Wendens Ambo church in Diocese of Chelmsford. #ruralchurch alive and kicking in East Anglia 👍🏻

North Elmham today with @edgecombev.bsky.social, including a quick visit to the original spot of the first ever Cathedral of East Anglia - until 1071. The seat then moved to Thetford, and finally Norwich.
Worth a visit. Beautiful and impressive spot. Truly amazing places and people in our Diocese.
