So the party that indiscriminately kills people is the party of God??? Please explain.
Oh no! Look at those domestic terrorists!!!
I got in an argument on X with a mom of kids in spec ed and she insisted that Trump would make things better for her kids making all districts pay attention to spec ed kids.

I wonder what she thinks now since it looks like there will be less or no funding.
Exactly. They did get better. But did not actually win anything.
They did better than expected. Then everyone copied their stats approach & then they sucked as bad as they did before.

Underlying problem is owner was cheapskate & wouldnt pay players well. Thats why tech bros love it--exploiting workers thru tech use to enlarge profit.
anyone without an actual name is a potential paid person trying to divide
Ive been in educ for 37 yrs.

I've learned new tech initially makes u more efficient & saves u time, but then u r given new tasks & that extra time disappears & u have even less time.

More responsibilities & less time.

No wonder there r so many mental health issues.

I made twice as much as an independent consultant but that was pre-ACA and I needed healthy insurance for kids.

I about able to retire and increase my salary again.
I never understood higher ed . . . we will hire you, but we expect you to bring in enough grants to cover your salary and benefits.

FACT OF THE DAY:

Jeff Brohm with Louisville has the same number of wins against a top 5 team THIS YEAR as James Franklin had in 11 years with Penn State.
were they also on the young republican's chat?
having been in both, id say even more so for K-12
cheaper is the primary concern for sure
an engineer I believe. Which is a place where AI might come in handy (or help design a bridge that will fall down).
He told ppl that everyone was expected to look for ways to use AI to increase effectiveness & efficiency. Told specifically to fac senate members, incl staff provided by univ. It doesnt work for fac senate. He has made the same call for all fac & staff. Makes sense in some, but not many, instances.
In his first week, our new provost commanded everyone to use AI to create more efficiency and cost savings. Even faculty senate (AI cannot assist in any of our work. None. zero. zip.nada) 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
In about three years the entire university pivot to AI curricula and schools and programs is going to be so deeply embarrassing. We will all pretend it never happened and I will be standing there, looking at people with a mirror in my eyes. This is all so embarrassing.
Id desire 2 or 3 more if someone would pay for them and take care of them until they were 3 or 4.
or a spot for the disabled. Or in front of the grocery store.

I was in Philly and mofo just parked in middle of the street and went into the store and then came back out and drove off. Fuck everyone behind him.
Always +/- 40% of GOP who think Trump and administration can do no wrong. What would it take for these 40% to move lower? Dropping bomsb on US cities?

we found that most protein powders and shakes have more lead in one serving than our experts say is safe to have in a day (🧵)

This is some of the best political news I've seen in a very long time.

There's a clear a way to end the Citizens United precedent by changing state incorporation laws - and now luminaries in both parties are forcing a vote on it in the 2026 election.
It seemed easier to create/follow groups on the shitty site. Maybe im just doing this one wrong
