Athassel Priory • Tipperary • c.1200

Undoubtedly one of Ireland's most impressive and expansive medieval ruins, Athassel Priory was founded for the Augustinians by William Fitz Aldhelm de Burgh.

Athassel would become a key mausoleum, or burial place, of the powerful De Burgh dynasty.

When I come back from a trip, there's a period before I go grocery shopping where I allow myself to get restaurant delivery for every meal. Theoretically, this period extends till I go bankrupt.
