How about everyone cancel their subscriptions like they did when Kimmel was removed from his late night show? It would probably make a difference like last time.

Just a reminder that ICE didn't exist until 2002. It's not some longstanding institution that must be maintained. It was created as a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11, and it could be gotten rid of as easily as it was created.

Think of the speed and breadth in the ways AI has been shoved into everything, how quickly infrastructure was built, how we retooled our economy toward it.

But apparently we can only do these things to destroy the environment, not save it.

Perks of having a rope scene with me:
- get tied up
- get cuddles after
- get next 2 normal stuck in your head bc I won't stop talking about it while I'm tying you

Unrelated, but I've never really grown out my facial hair to see what it does. My brother has a fairly thick beard. Should I let mine grow out and see? Y/N?
Our hot water is out so I had to give myself a sponge bath with water heated on the stove. Just glad I could bathe at all.

Would you believe me if I told you university finance recently told me that a student's dissertation was not university business? 😮‍💨
Ready to start a movement that argues universities should spend money on their core functions, rather than flashy nonsense. Such as teaching and research for example.

Please understand that all your favorite million-dollar IPs were created by artists that get nothing more than a typical company paycheck. They don’t get royalties on the sales and oft aren’t even rewarded with bonuses or anything for creating such a valuable brand.
Miles Morales co-creator Sara Pichelli says she does not get any royalties from the ‘Spider-Verse’ films, Insomniac games, or merch

It's an actual game plan on the right. They use it for book bans as well. They start with something easy: no porn in libraries. That hooks in the low information folks. Then you slowly broaden the scope until you're yanking any YA that violates Christian nationalism.
one of many parallels between anti-vaxxers & those who oppose gender-affirming care: they start by pretending they have a very specific concern (MMR vaccine, puberty blockers, etc), but once given any sway or say on the matter, they quickly strive to eliminate all of it
Kennedy's zombie ACIP panel just voted to restrict hepatitis B vaccine for newborns. Experts say it will harm children for no reason. www.ms.now/news/rfk-cdc...

"'Do no harm' is a moral imperative. We are doing harm by changing this wording. And I vote no."

Joint Statement of the Acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Netflix.

Living in LA taught me that Netflix is almost entirely responsible for the decline of Hollywood over the last 20 years. Basically every horrible trend making it more difficult for entertainment workers to earn a living can be traced back to them. This is unequivocally bad.
