The Tigers would give up the third round pick if they sign a QO Free Agent. If they get a comp pick for one of Flaherty/Torres, they would give up their second round pick. If they get two comp picks, they would give one of them up.

That’s incomplete, he only got 2 of his 3 feet down inbounds
Roger Goodell says the NFL is looking into how AI can help officiating in the future.
How many baseball fans are going to think twice before pulling the trigger on that Cap1 card after that?
Oh, fuck you FOX.

In-game ads during the most intense moments of the game? That's just terrible
Man, I do not like a bunt down 2.
Random thought I just had after watching the John Candy documentary yesterday. He totally would have been in the Christopher Guest mockumentaries...

Everytime I see Daulton Varsho, I always like to think other kids are named after their dad's teammates, and there may be a VanLandingham Manwaring or a Saltalamacchia Middlebrooks out there somewhere.
It's funny because Will Middlebrooks's wife works sidelines for CBS.
Not knowing the exact letter of the rule, I would say out.
In case anybody is using this website, I'd love to hear some guesses. Note: superstation broadcasts like WGN and TBS (Braves only pre-2007) don't count. Games where Fox or ESPN shows four games at once all count.

Anyways, guess the top 10, and I'll post down the road.
Welp, to keep my head in the sand and avoid doom scrolling the last few weeks, I may have just completed my nerdiest baseball research project ever... Yep... Answering the question "Who has done play-by-play on the most National MLB Broadcasts Ever?"
Thanks to the 506 Archives, I have the total list
Having grown up just north of US-36 in Ohio, I can confirm it does not go through Canton. #TheChairCompany
FYI, Rainey didn't quite reach 6 years. Kinda moot because I expect him among the post World Series purge, but it does affect your first paragraph.
Wait, The Bear is playing The Boss?
Ohtani hit that one to McCovey Cove.
Wow, Kiké Hernandez is basically Superman in October.
Oh, NOW a ball fielded over the plate in a Game 5 in Seattle on a Friday is fair.
Also included: Eduardo Valencia. If they planned on adding him to the 40-man roster this offseason after his strong finish, they would have just done that instead of bothering with a successor contract. Suggests he's not getting protected.
I found a little roster nugget in the BA Transactions logs, as they appear to be showing minor league successor contracts that are signed.

Jose Urquidy was listed, which tells me they have him signed to a minor league extension and are planning on declining his option.
Nido and Baddoo indeed got a head start on free agency. No surprise. Dobnak didn't, and is wise to wait on the buyout.
Procedural stuff...

Tigers eligible for XX-D free agency and can file before October 15:

Tomas Nido
Akil Baddoo
Randy Dobnak (not likely to accept because he has a team option with a buyout that he would forfeit)
We have reached the point in this postseason where I have grown tired of the same commercials running on repeat.

I am looking at you, guy with eyes on chest.
