TLDR: I, a wheelchair bound individual, am getting evicted by my housing manager for essentially complaining about sexual assault and for breaking my ribs and asking for medication as prescribed which they refuse to do without giving me issues

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey says 29 people were arrested in downtown last night during a noise demonstration at a hotel reportedly housing ICE agents: "For those that are taking the bait and causing property damage or otherwise, there are consequences. We're holding the line here all the way."

I have been tracking Democratic Senator Chris Murphy's public comments for some time. He's been one of the most cartoonish boosters of ICE and depraved purveyors of anti-immigrant sentiment. Any movement to make our world less violent and more just cannot have such leaders.

Every one of these announcements reads to me as "we don't have enough people and supplies to occupy more than one city at a time"

ICE only has about 20-30,000 employees nationwide. Including desk jobs so there's even fewer armed. It's smaller than the NYPD.
There's a reason they do their mega raids on one or two cities at a time, and it's not optics. It's because that's all the dudes they've got.
