I love crime fiction and I’ve just read Dangerous by @essiefox.bsky.social which was absolutely fantastic! Set in the brooding atmosphere of 18th century Venice, Lord Byron turns detective to solve a series of gruesome murders. It’s the perfect Gothic thriller and a spine-chilling read!

detective fiction is a really good genre for pantsing because as you, the author, figure out details about the story/plot, you can just have the detective figure those things out too
