Apparently there are a lot of fake AI generated photos being circulated right now. So, unless it's a shared post rather than a screenshot, and every news agency is posting the same ones at the same time, it's likely bogus and unhelpful.

Snow and cold weather are so exhausting 🥶🥱 I did some shoveling yesterday, but there's more to be done. I managed to get out of my driveway by flattening some of it because I had to pick up prescriptions, then did a bit of Christmas shopping. I need to shovel a bit more and maybe get some sand.

There was an 80-100 car pileup in today's blizzard near Airdrie, Alberta that closed the highway. This cat has gone missing from one of the vehicles. Poor baby. I hope he's found quickly.

No big deal, but the Alberta government just increased the fee to submit a citizen initiated petition from $500 to $25, 000. After the separatism initiative was approved, but before Corb Lund's coal mining petition gets re-approved. No political shenanigans going on here.

You know how both the City of Edmonton and AB govt. keep raving about trying to get more people downtown, especially in the Ice District, to help businesses? My favorite Italian restaurant was down there but there was never any place to park on game nights. They got smart & moved.

This neighbour of mine uses a leaf blower as a snowblower. It must be huge based on the noise, it woke me up this morning. He makes a wide path from his back yard to the front, right down to the grass, and he's out there several times a day. All the snow is blown up againts the side of my house.
