Exactly one year ago I was in Atlantic City to see @durandurancom.bsky.social . It was the 2nd of 4 US Duran shows I went to last year (2x Vegas, May & Dec, & MSG Halloween 🎃). Unbelievably my campaign to get them to Nottingham appears to have worked because tonight I’m going to see them here!!!

Saudi Arabia has its 1000. Just announced by the ATP. “Saudi Arabia will become the tenth ATP Masters 1000 host, joining the existing 9 tournaments in Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Toronto/Montreal, Cincinnati, Shanghai and Paris. The Saudi tournament will begin as early as 2028.”

Also, if you get a bonus (and can afford to do so) ask your employer to “pay” it as an additional ER’s pension contribution. You get the tax relief and neither you or the employer pays NIC on it.

I know mine off by heart too (and my driving licence number!). Plus, a taxpayer has a Unique Tax Reference and if you’ve ever been treated in a hospital, you have a hospital number that is not your NHS number 🤪. So many opportunities to simplify things…

We all already have an NI number and an NHS number, and whilst neither are intended to be proof of RTW, the govt ought to be thinking about replacing them with this new ID card number (if it ever gets launched - I have my doubts).
