Paris Masters 100: Director Cédric Pioline says they’ve slowed the surface compared to last year to be the closer possible to the ATP Finals conditions. I don’t think anyone in power in tennis is reading the room, really.

It’s pretty rare indeed in tennis. It happened to Lucas Pouille this year. Mauresmo, ages ago. Lots of tendinitis but few rupture. I guess also because of all the injury prevention / flexibility work done.
