I love New Mexico, but no getting around that there is a lot of poverty there. That fuels the crime rates, as it also does with all of the red states in the list.

One thing that is good in my state is that people can use their Bridge cards at local municipal farmers markets, which usually have fresh produce at a better price than grocery stores. But the people need to be able to get to the market…

Like others said, probably an ostomy bag for bodily waste. Small chance it’s part of a bulky knee brace of some sort, but my best guess is an ostomy bag that needs to be emptied.

And since they are working, they still have all of the expenses of working such as childcare and commuting costs. At some point they will run out of money and simply not be able to go to work anymore.
