Just talked with CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp) about my NSF EDU-funded study on early stereotypes in STEM.

With my @airinforms.bsky.social colleagues, the results show the importance of *sustained* and *evidence-based* funded efforts to expand opportunities for girls in tech at early ages.

This headline in the Washington Examiner demonstrates how little people know about what IES and NCES do. Suggesting that the head of NCES was put on leave because of dismal NAEP results is laughable. NCES is a statistical agency. It's job is to report the data as it is. 1/2

Randomized controlled trials are perhaps best known for testing medication effectiveness, but can also be used to assess programs and policies.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

This is probably the greatest moment in @newyorkgiants.bsky.social history. But, did you know: That was the last catch of David Tyree's NFL career? He missed the entire 2008 season with a knee injury and had no catches in 2009 (with the Ravens).
17 years ago today, Eli Manning and the Giants took down the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.

18 wins and 1 Giant loss.

This is correct.
The thing to understand about Trump is like in his first term, he doesn’t want to govern. He doesn’t want to learn. He wants to campaign and look good.

Republicans know this. So there are battles going on right now to take control of the actual process of governing.
